Huh, pH balance? What’s that?
Right from using the wrong products & solutions on your intimate skin to menstruation and sexual intercourse, the unique pH-level of your vulval area (3.8 to 4.5) can be stripped off further causing bad odour, irritation and other unpleasantness.
pH is short for ‘potential to free hydrogen ions’ and is a measurement of the acidity or alkalinity of a of a solution. pH values range between 0 to 14, with values at either end being quite extreme and potentially dangerous, leading to chemical burns, for example. A pH of 7.0 is considered neutral. Anything below 7 is considered acidic and anything above 7.0, alkaline.
